Občané Kraje Vysočina tříděním starých elektrospotřebičů výrazně přispěli k ochraně životního prostředí
Za loňský rok odevzdali k recyklaci 23 759 televizí, 9 704 monitorů a 247 094 kg drobného elektra. Tímto množstvím přispěli k úspoře 524 tisíc litrů ropy, 49 tisíc kubíků vody a snížili produkci nebezpečných odpadů o 9,7 tisíc tun a skleníkových plynů o 2,4 tisíc tun oxidu uhličitého.
„Když si uvědomíme, že například osobní automobil vyprodukuje za rok provozu 2 tuny skleníkových plynů a že recyklací jednoho notebooku se vyprodukuje o 91,5 kg méně nebezpečných odpadů, jsou to impozantní čísla,“ komentuje bilanci radní kraje pro životní prostředí a zemědělství Zdeněk Chlád a dodává: „Děkujeme vám všem, kteří zodpovědně třídíte odpady, že chráníte životní prostředí svého kraje!“
Kraj Vysočina dlouhodobě finančně podporuje zpětný odběr vysloužilých elektrospotřebičů v projektech spolupráce se společnostmi ASEKOL a ELEKTROWIN.
